We are seeking an experienced Lead Carpenter / Foreman to oversee the installation of wood trusses at both the roof and floor levels of a commercial building project.

Responsibilities:

· Lead and supervise carpentry crew in setting, bracing, and securing wood trusses, ledgers, roof and floor 3 ¼” tongue and groove plywood decks in accordance with engineered drawings and safety requirements.

· Coordinate with the project manager and superintendent to keep installation on schedule.

· Ensure materials, equipment, and site conditions are prepared for efficient workflow.

· Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and productivity on site.

· Provide hands-on leadership to crew members as needed.

Qualifications:

· Proven experience as a lead carpenter or foreman on construction projects where significant roof and truss installations were required.

· Strong knowledge and experience with wood truss installation, Simpson Strong Ties, DIA Hilti KB3 anchors, layout, and safety procedures.

· Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.

· Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

· OSHA certification or safety training preferred.

NOTE: The current need for this position to be filled is for a wood truss scope of work that will last about two months.
