    Are you the one we're looking for? A passionate and experienced Lead Carpenter who wants to join a dynamic and growing Paul Davis Team:

    Lead Carpenter $25.00 - $35.00 per hour depending on experience

    A Lead Carpenter at Paul Davis manages and oversees reconstruction projects from start to finish. This role requires exceptional carpentry skills, strong leadership abilities, and a keen eye for detail. The ideal candidate will be a proactive communicator, adept at problem-solving, and committed to upholding the highest standards of safety and quality.

    Description

    Lead and supervise a team of carpenters, apprentices, and subcontractors

    Ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards

    Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans

    Perform all phases of carpentry, including framing, trim work, cabinetry installation, and door and window installation

    Coordinate with Project Managers, clients, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project flow

    Estimate material and labor costs, and order materials as needed

    Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies

    Provide training and mentorship to junior carpenters and apprentices

    Maintain accurate project records and reports

    Troubleshoot and resolve construction-related issues effectively

    Education and Experience

    High School Diploma or GED required

    Minimum of 5 years of verifiable carpentry experience

    Proven experience leading and supervising a team.

    Strong knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and materials

    Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and construction documents

    Expertise in using a variety of hand and power tools

    Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills

    Strong organizational and time management abilities

    Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

    Preferred Experience

    OSHA certification and knowledge of safety regulations preferred
