    ** The Opportunity**

    We need a skilled Lead Data Engineer to join our Marketing Operations & Engineering team. This role involves developing and expanding the data infrastructure supporting our B2B marketing analytics framework, providing deeper insights into account and contact engagement, campaign performance, and marketing initiatives.

    ** What you'll Do**

    • Design and uphold sturdy data pipelines and ETL processes for the ingestion and processing of B2B marketing data from various origins, including CRM systems like Dynamics and Salesforce.
    • Lead engineering efforts by collaborating with cross-functional teams (marketing, analytics, data science, product) to define data requirements and ensure data quality and consistency.
    • Develop scalable data models for a unified B2B Data Mart supporting targeting, marketing measurement, and planning.
    • Automate contact and account data enrichment workflows using third-party data providers and internal systems.
    • Develop and maintain data assets to support dashboards and reporting tools for B2B marketing performance and engagement metrics.
    • Ensure high performance, reliability, and security of the B2B data infrastructure.

    ** What you need to succeed**

    • 8+ years of background in data engineering, emphasizing B2B marketing data.
    • Proven expertise in SQL, Python, Spark, and data pipeline orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, dbt).
    • Experience with CursorAI or similar platforms for intelligent data workflows and automation.
    • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-based analytics environments such as Databricks.
    • Familiarity with CRM systems like Salesforce and Dynamics, and their data models.
    • Understanding of B2B marketing operations, including campaign metadata, segmentation, and behavioral analytics.
    • Experience working with Data Scientists and BI Engineers to deliver actionable insights.
    • Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical collaborators.
    • Background in supporting agile marketing or growth teams is a plus.

    Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $139,000 -- $257,550 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

    In California, the pay range for this position is $177,900 - $257,550

    At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

    In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
