    The Goddard School of Downtown Pittsburgh, a premium childcare and daycare center, is searching for a passionate Lead or Assistant Teacher to join our full-time team with comprehensive benefits.

    Located on 5th Ave., our school has served the families of Pittsburgh for over 10 years, providing a vibrant environment for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and Pre-K (Pre-Kindergarten) children.

    We proudly welcome families from surrounding areas such as Monroeville, Robinson, Mt. Washington, Shady Side, South Hills, North Hills, and Mt. Lebanon.

    Summary

    The Goddard School of Downtown Pittsburgh is always looking for a great teacher!

    Our Teachers Are Responsible For:

    Coordinating the daily operations of assigned classrooms

    Planning, presenting, and evaluating educational and recreational activities

    Maintaining a safe, nurturing, and positive environment

    Working directly with children and parents daily to provide quality customer service

    Qualifications

    PA Teaching Certificate

    1–2 years of previous experience preferred

    Successfully completed state-required pre-service training

    Ability to develop relationships and communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues

    Ability to calmly manage stressful situations while multitasking

    Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. (for child safety and emergency situations)

    For Infant and Young Toddler Teachers, must be able to safely lift infants in and out of cribs

    Meets background check eligibility requirements
