    Position Summary

    At Bright Kids Learning Academy, children are immersed in creative ways to learn concepts and skills. Lead Teachers provide strategies and effective tools to ensure children have meaningful learning experiences daily. They create environments that are socially and emotionally positive, cognitively stimulating, and supportive of each child’s culture, language, ethnicity, and family structure.     We are seeking an experienced and energetic Lead Infant Daycare Teacher to join our team! You will be responsible for encouraging little children’s intellectual, psychological, and physical growth. The ideal candidate is nurturing, patient, and creative.     Responsibilities

    Employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, play-based learning, media, etc.)

    Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with NC Foundations

    Observe and assess each child’s development and adjust instruction accordingly

    Foster children’s social, emotional, and academic growth

    Maintain a safe, structured, and engaging classroom environment

    Supervise children at all times in accordance with licensing standards

    Collaborate with other educators and leadership

    Maintain a clean and compliant classroom consistent with health and safety standards

    Communicate effectively with families regarding child progress and needs

    Support and guide Assistant Teachers in daily classroom execution

    Qualifications

    CDA, Associate Degree, or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field

    Minimum 12 EDU credit hours required

    Proven experience as a Lead Teacher

    Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines

    Strong classroom management and instructional skills

    Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills

    CPR, First Aid, and SIDS Certification required

    Reliable, professional, and consistent

    Pay

    Range: $17.00 – $20.00 per hour

    Starting pay is based on education, classroom experience, and alignment with role expectations
