This is not just a drafting position. Responsibilities: Team Leadership & Workflow Coordination • Coordinate workflow for the firm’s legal assistants and paralegals • Assign and monitor work to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and timely completion • Provide training, mentorship, and guidance to junior team members • Serve as a key liaison between attorneys and the support team • Help maintain and improve internal systems that support consistent quality and efficiency Estate Planning Drafting & Case Support (All work performed under the supervision of the firm’s attorneys) • Draft wills, trusts, and other estate planning documents using WealthCounsel drafting software • Assist attorneys with estate planning matters and the preparation of client documents • Ensure files are organized, complete, and ready for attorney review • Maintain high standards for accuracy, organization, and professionalism in all legal documents Quality Control & Client Experience • Review documents and files to ensure accuracy and completeness before attorney review • Help ensure clients receive a seamless, organized, and five-star experience throughout the estate planning process • Support attorneys and staff in maintaining the firm’s reputation for excellent legal work and exceptional service Cross-Team Support (When Needed) • Provide support to the firm’s probate or trust administration teams if additional assistance is needed • Experience with probate filings or trust administrations is helpful but not required Qualifications: • Minimum 5 years of experience as an estate planning paralegalBachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university • Prior experience leading or supervising a team of paralegals or legal assistants • Strong experience drafting comprehensive estate planning documents • Experience with WealthCounsel drafting software preferred • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines • Professional, positive team player with strong communication skills • Must be able to work full-time, in person, from our Newport Beach office Compensation: $65,000 - $90,000 yearly
