Compensation: $115,000 - $190,000 Annual Salary

Position Description:
We are looking for a knowledgeable Lead Financial Analyst for our Skilled Nursing Facility ( SNF ) in Toms River NJ. This is a full-time, in-person position, Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm
Qualifications of the Lead Financial Analyst :
- Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA/CPA/CFA preferred)
- 5–8+ years in financial analysis, FP&A, or corporate finance (healthcare/SNF preferred)
- Expertise in forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets; BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) preferred
- Strong communication and presentation skills; effective with executives and stakeholders
- Adaptable, problem-solver, thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments
- Proven career progression with interest in leadership roles (manager/controller track)
Responsibilities of the Lead Financial Analyst:
- Serve as the primary financial analytics partner to the CFO, distilling complex data into clear, executive-level insights.
- Lead preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, including variance analysis, KPIs, and operational performance metrics.
- Drive forecasting and budgeting cycles, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Partner with operations, clinical, and executive leadership to evaluate financial trends and decision-making impact.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, models, and reporting tools to support real-time analysis.
- Collaborate with the existing team of financial analysts, bridging their work to executive leadership without directly managing them (initially).
- Support strategic initiatives such as new business opportunities, M&A evaluations, and margin optimisation projects.
- Act as a key resource for the CFO in board presentations, lender communications, and investor updates.
- Build the foundation to transition into a Financial Analyst Manager (leading a team) or Controller (technical financial reporting focus) as the finance team evolves.
