Walter Pine Floral Studio - Philadelphia, PA

We’re an artful, design-focused floral studio seeking a skilled and passionate lead florist to join our creative team. This role is ideal for a skilled floral designer with strong retail and event experience who is ready to take on a leadership role within a small, growing studio.

Schedule:

Full-time, with open availability Tuesday thru Sunday and flexibility for wedding weekends and seasonal holidays.

Additional hours required during peak seasons including Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, and the holiday season.

What We’re Looking For:

3+ years of professional floral design experience (retail + events preferred)

Strong design skills with the ability to execute within the Walter Pine aesthetic

Experience assisting with and leading floral installations

Highly organized, reliable, and efficient

Comfortable working both independently and as part of a small creative team

Ability to manage time well, multitask, and stay organized under pressure

Positive attitude and strong communication skills

Leading Walter Pine Design Room standards

Please note: This role requires that Walter Pine be your exclusive floral design commitment.

Responsibilities:

Create daily arrangements and custom orders in the Walter Pine style

Assist with wedding and event floral production

Lead or assist with installations and breakdowns

Ensure floral quality through proper processing, care, and inventory management

Oversee flower ordering and monitor floral budgets

Support sales forecasting and ordering decisions based on upcoming demand

Maintain floral design recipes, pricing documentation, and operational spreadsheets

Review sales reports and support inventory and purchasing strategy

Maintain organization and workflow within the design room

Supporting, training, and guiding junior team members while ensuring orders are fulfilled accurately and on time
