We are hiring a Lead Fuel Systems Technician to join our 15-member field team installing and maintaining critical fuel infrastructure for government and commercial clients throughout Missouri. This crew lead position involves directing a 2-person installation team, serving as the primary point of contact on job sites, and traveling 80% of the time within a 3-4 hour radius of Kansas City with company-provided lodging and meals.

Key Responsibilities - Lead Fuel Systems Technician
- Direct and execute installation, repair, and troubleshooting of fuel systems at government and commercial facilities
- Serve as on-site crew lead and primary client contact for 2-person installation teams
- Operate company vehicles to transport crew and equipment to job sites across Missouri
- Perform system diagnostics and resolve technical issues to ensure operational functionality
- Complete projects ranging from small repairs to large-scale fuel system installations
Qualifications - Lead Fuel Systems Technician
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting skills
- Ability to pass DOD background check and drug screening
- Willingness to travel extensively (80%) with overnight stays throughout Missouri
- Self-motivated team player capable of working in 2-person crew environments
Preferred Qualifications - Fuel Systems Installation Technician
- Experience with fuel systems, petroleum equipment, or related mechanical trades
- Background in agriculture, construction, or industrial maintenance
- Familiarity with hand and power tools
- Previous experience in field service or installation roles
- API safety training or petroleum equipment certifications (NTO, NTI)
Physical Requirements - Lead Fuel Systems Technician
- Lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds regularly
- Stand, kneel, and work in confined spaces for extended periods
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions and temperatures
- Perform tasks at heights and on uneven terrain
- Travel overnight 80% of the time throughout Missouri
- Maintain physical capability for extended periods of manual labor
