With multiple practice locations and strong partnerships with hearing care professionals, we strive every day to provide each individual with the care, knowledge, and experience they deserve.

    Position Overview:

As a Lead Generation Specialist for a Augusta Hearing & Balance located inside a host environment, you are the frontline ambassador for life-changing hearing care. Your primary mission is to proactively identify, engage, and qualify potential hearing-aid candidates among members and guests.

Using a consultative approach, you will educate shoppers about hearing health, conduct quick on-site screenings, and schedule no-cost consultations with licensed hearing professionals—all while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

This is a high-energy, high-impact role ideal for outgoing self-starters who thrive in retail environments and genuinely enjoy helping people hear better.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    Engage & Educate (Inreach):

Approach members in high-traffic areas (near pharmacy, optical, entrances) using approved openers and educational tools to spark conversations about hearing health.

    Screen & Qualify:

Perform quick, non-diagnostic hearing checks using tablet-based apps or handheld screening devices to identify potential candidates.

    Book Appointments:

Secure same-day or future appointments for free, full diagnostic evaluations with on-site audiologists or hearing instrument specialists.

    Client Data & Communication:

Maintain current and accurate client information, including address, phone, email, and physician details, while exercising strict confidentiality.

Communicate effectively via phone, email, text, and mail. Retrieve messages and prioritize timely follow-ups.

    Performance Tracking & Reporting:

Log all interactions in tracking tools and provide feedback on member objections and frequently asked questions.

Meet monthly Sales Qualified Lead (SQL) targets and report on show rate, conversion rates, and follow-through.

    Event Activation & Merchandising:

Staff weekend demo tables, health fairs, and “Hearing Health Days” with games, giveaways, and live demonstrations.

Maintain a clean, professional, and branded kiosk or demo area; restock brochures and materials as needed.

    Professional Environment:

Maintain a quiet, friendly, and professional environment. Many clients have hearing challenges and require clearly articulated communication and proper written grammar.

    Time Management:

Effectively manage time while supporting multiple locations, ensuring consistent communication with providers, clients, and leadership teams.

    Report daily progress and outcomes.

    Compliance & Teamwork:

Adhere to HIPAA, host environment policies, and state regulations related to hearing screenings.

Work collaboratively with center staff to achieve goals set by regional and senior leadership.

Respond to inquiries promptly and attend all required meetings and trainings.
