Upper West Exteriors | Greater Seattle Area Full-Time | Hourly + Pay-for-Performance Upper West Exteriors is bringing gutter production in-house, and we're looking for an experienced gutter professional to help us build the division from the ground up. This is a unique hybrid field role. When gutters are scheduled, you'll lead gutter production using our dedicated 5"/6" seamless gutter machine and enclosed trailer. When you're not producing gutters, you'll work as a Field Production Supervisor, supporting our roofing operations, performing QC inspections, handling jobsite logistics, and completing minor roof repairs. You'll have consistent full-time work while helping us grow a new division—and the opportunity to grow into Gutter Division and Field Operations leadership as we expand. What You'll DoGutter Production Operate our 5"/6" seamless gutter machine Measure, fabricate, and install complete gutter and downspout systems Manage the gutter trailer, tools, materials, and inventory Maintain high standards for quality, efficiency, and jobsite cleanliness Help develop our gutter installation processes and standards Train and lead helpers as the division grows Field Production Perform QC inspections on active roofing projects Support crews with jobsite setup, materials, Catch-All systems, and dump trailers Coordinate field needs with our operations team Perform minor roofing repairs and service work • What We're Looking For Troubleshoot and solve field issues Professional seamless gutter installation experience Experience operating a gutter roll-forming machine Knowledge of 5" and 6" K-style gutters Roofing and roof-repair experience preferred Comfortable towing trailers, working from ladders, and working on roofs Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Strong workmanship, communication, and problem-solving skills Someone who wants to take ownership and grow into leadership Compensation & GrowthThis is an hourly position plus Pay-for-Performance. Responsibilities: Lead day-to-day gutter production and installation Operate and maintain the 5"/6" seamless gutter machine and production trailer Measure, fabricate, and install seamless gutters, downspouts, gutter guards, and accessories Manage gutter materials, coil inventory, tools, equipment, and trailer organization Maintain high standards for quality, efficiency, safety, and jobsite cleanliness Train and supervise gutter helpers as the division grows Help develop gutter production procedures, quality standards, and best practices Perform roofing project quality-control inspections Support roofing crews with jobsite setup, Catch-All systems, materials, and equipment Deliver materials and transport/manage dump trailers Identify and resolve field-production issues Document project progress and completed work with photos Perform minor roofing repairs and service work Communicate professionally with homeowners, crews, subcontractors, and the operations team Identify additional repair or exterior-work opportunities while onsite Take ownership of equipment maintenance and readiness Help improve production efficiency and profitability Grow into increased responsibility for gutter crews, scheduling, training, and division operations as the department expands Qualifications: 2+ years of professional gutter installation experience preferred Experience operating 5" and 6" seamless gutter roll-forming machines Strong knowledge of K-style gutter installation, downspouts, drainage, and gutter guards Residential roofing and basic roof-repair experience preferred Experience towing, backing, and maneuvering enclosed and dump trailers Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred Comfortable working on ladders, roofs, and at heights Ability to safely lift and handle construction materials and equipment Strong mechanical aptitude and field problem-solving skills Close attention to detail and pride in workmanship Strong communication and customer-service skills Ability to work independently and take ownership of field responsibilities Experience leading or training helpers/crew members preferred Reliable, organized, and able to manage tools, materials, and equipment Willingness to work across gutter installation, roofing production, and repair work Leadership mindset with an interest in helping build and grow a new division Compensation: $25 - $35 hourly
