    • Our client is a well-known Oil and Gas/fuel distribution company looking to hire a Lead HVAC Propane Technician to join their growing Oil and Propane Division in Middlebury, Vermont. This role involves overseeing all day-to-day activities, supervising technicians and installers, ensuring consistent service quality, and managing the division to achieve profitable operations. They are continually growing and seeking a strong leader to take them to the next level.

    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee all daily operational scheduling to ensure smooth coordination of field activities and timely project execution.
    • Provide leadership, guidance, and professional development for HVAC technicians and installers.
    • Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, industry codes, and regulatory requirements across all operations.
    • Prepare detailed project assessments and develop accurate estimates for HVAC installations, replacements, and service work.
    • Maintain high-quality standards by verifying that work is completed with precision, accuracy, and professionalism.
    • Manage and monitor labor, material, and overhead costs to support operational efficiency and financial performance.
    • Collaborate closely with suppliers and subcontractors to secure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and services.

    Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of experience in HVAC service and installation.
    • A valid Vermont license for propane piping and service technician and/or CETP certification. EPA is a plus
    • Strong proficiency in preparing accurate estimates.
    • Experience using HVAC service software and project management tools.

    Compensation:

    • Base salary up to 105k/year
