At Butcher & Bee, hospitality is more than a service, it’s the heart of everything we do. From the moment a guest walks through our doors, they’re part of our table, our community, and our story. We’re searching for a Host or Lead Host who can set the tone for every guest’s evening, blending warmth, professionalism, and genuine connection.

This isn’t just about greeting people, it’s about creating a seamless and memorable first impression that carries through the entire dining experience. The Host is the first smile, the calm in the storm, and the steady hand that guides the flow of the dining room.

    You Are:

    Warm, welcoming, and confident

A natural leader with strong presence and poise

Attuned to both the pace of service and the needs of each guest

Skilled at balancing hospitality with precision and control

    Key Responsibilities:

Lead the Experience: Welcome every guest as though they’re part of the Butcher & Bee family, ensuring the tone of hospitality is set from the start.

Orchestrate the Flow: Manage reservations, walk-ins, seating charts, and waitlists with accuracy and ease.

Support Service: Maintain close communication with servers, bar, and kitchen to keep service smooth; assist with running food, resetting tables, and supporting the team when needed.

Anticipate Needs: Read the room, adjust the pace, and ensure guests feel cared for without ever feeling rushed.

Handle the Details: Answer phones, manage special requests, and oversee the arrival and departure experience with professionalism.

    What You Bring:

Previous experience in a host, maître d’, or guest-facing leadership role in a high-volume or full-service restaurant (2+ years preferred)

Strong multitasking skills and clear decision-making under pressure

Confidence in leading service and supporting the front-of-house team

Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

    Why Butcher & Bee?

    Competitive pay, paid weekly

Health benefits for full-time team members (30+ hours per week)

    1% employer-matched 401(k)

Growth opportunities within a creative, values-driven restaurant group

A team culture that celebrates food, connection, and genuine hospitality

At Butcher & Bee, we bring people together through thoughtful food and warm service. If you’re passionate about creating unforgettable guest experiences and leading with hospitality, we’d love to meet you.
