Opening a brand-new school is a rare opportunity. We are seeking a warm, dependable, and experienced Lead Infant Teacher to help shape the care, culture, and classroom experience of our infant program from day one.

What You'll Do
As our Lead Infant Teacher, you will:
Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging infant classroom environment
Build secure, trusting relationships with infants and families
Support each child’s social-emotional, physical, cognitive, and language development
Maintain predictable routines for feeding, diapering, rest, play, and transitions
Observe and support developmental milestones through responsive care and purposeful interaction
Communicate warmly and professionally with families about each child’s day, needs, and progress
Partner with Assistant Teachers and school leadership to maintain a calm, organized, and loving classroom
Maintain health, safety, sanitation, supervision, and licensing standards at all times

Ideal Experience
We are especially interested in candidates with experience in:
Infant classrooms
Toddler classrooms
Licensed childcare or preschool settings
Developmentally appropriate infant care
Parent communication and daily reporting
Classroom routines, safety, and supervision
Experience with toddlers is also valued, as this role may support continuity between our infant and young toddler classrooms.
Qualifications
Candidates must meet North Carolina childcare licensing requirements and possess one or more of the following:
Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or related field
CDA credential
NC Early Childhood Credential or equivalent qualification
Relevant infant, toddler, or early childhood classroom experience
Enrollment in an Early Childhood Education or CDA program
Background check and state employment requirements apply.
