About the Role:
Join the dynamic team at Terry's Grill as a Kitchen Leader and Opener! We are seeking a passionate culinary professional with over 10 years of experience to help us deliver exceptional dining experiences in Jacksonville, FL.
Responsibilities:
Lead kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation.
Oversee food preparation, cooking, and plating processes to maintain consistency.
Train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
Manage inventory, ordering, and food cost control to optimize profitability.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all kitchen operations.
Develop and implement new menu items to enhance customer satisfaction.
Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest experiences.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and storage areas.
Requirements:
Minimum of 6-10 years of experience in a kitchen role
Proven track record of managing kitchen staff and operations effectively.
Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
Passion for food and commitment to delivering high-quality dishes.
Flexible schedule, including early mornings and weekends 40 hours a week if you can open at 430am
