We’re looking for a lead technician who already knows kitchen systems, understands the responsibility, and can take ownership of jobs, customers, and results. If you’ve worked with ANSUL, Pyro-Chem, Amerex, Range Guard, or similar systems, and you have your FEL license (or close to it) — keep reading. Responsibilities: What You’ll Be Doing • Lead installation, service, and inspections of commercial kitchen fire suppression systems • Work with wet chemical systems tied to gas valves, micro-switches, detection lines, and hood systems • Troubleshoot and correct deficiencies in the field • Train and guide junior technicians • Communicate clearly with customers, GCs, and office staff • Ensure jobs are completed clean, compliant, and on time • Handle permits, inspections, and AHJ coordination when needed Qualifications: FEL License (Texas) – or actively working toward it Experience with kitchen systems (not just extinguishers) Strong understanding of: • Kitchen Fire Systems • Installation of systems & cable routing • System testing and inspections Bonus Points: • Experience with multiple manufacturers (ANSUL, Pyro-Chem, Amerex, etc.) • Comfortable reading plans and specs • Leadership experience (or ready to step into it) • Ability to run jobs without constant supervision Compensation: $32 - $36 hourly
