We're not looking for someone who just wants another job.

We're looking for someone who wants to build a career, take ownership, and become a leader as our company grows.

This is a full-time, year-round position with a clear path to future leadership for the right person.

    🚨 PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING

This position is physically demanding and requires working safely at heights every day.

This is not a job where you'll climb a ladder once or twice during the week.

Working on ladders and roofs is a major part of nearly every installation.

You should only apply if you have professional experience working at heights as part of your everyday job.

    Examples include:

    Roofing

    Exterior construction

    Gutter installation

    Window cleaning

    Siding

    Solar installation

    Low-voltage installation

    Similar exterior trades

If you've only occasionally worked on ladders—or you're simply comfortable with heights—this probably isn't the right fit.

We are looking for someone who is calm, confident, and productive while working safely at height throughout the day.

    This Is Hard Work

This is an active, outdoor skilled-trades position—not a retail, warehouse, or office job.

Every week you'll be expected to:

Climb extension ladders dozens of times throughout the day

Work safely on one- and two-story homes and commercial buildings

Spend much of your workday on ladders or roofs

Lift and carry ladders, lighting materials, and equipment

Frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Work outdoors during Middle Tennessee summers, including heat and humidity

Bend, kneel, squat, reach, and climb throughout the day

Maintain focus and safe work habits even after several hours of physical work

If you enjoy working with your hands, staying active, and seeing the results of your craftsmanship every day, you'll probably love this job.

If you're looking for light-duty work, this position isn't the right fit.

    What You'll Be Doing

As a Lighting Installation Technician, you'll be responsible for delivering premium outdoor lighting installations while providing an exceptional customer experience.

    Typical work includes:

    Installing permanent roofline lighting systems

    Installing landscape lighting systems

    Installing commercial outdoor lighting

    Running and securing low-voltage wiring

Mounting transformers, controllers, and lighting components

Measuring, cutting, fitting, and assembling lighting materials

Working safely from ladders and aerial lifts when needed

Loading materials and preparing job sites

Maintaining clean, organized, professional job sites

Communicating professionally with homeowners and commercial customers

Identifying opportunities to improve the customer's lighting system

Solving problems in the field using our core value:

FITFO – Find Intelligent and Tactical Fixes and Options

    Required Skills

Successful candidates should already be comfortable using common construction tools, including:

    Tape measures

    Power drills and impact drivers

    Miter saws

    Hand tools

    Levels

    Basic electrical hand tools

You don't need to be a master carpenter or electrician, but you should already possess solid mechanical aptitude and be comfortable measuring, cutting, drilling, and assembling materials accurately.

    Compensation & Benefits

    $25–$30/hour, depending on experience

    Plus:

    Overtime opportunities

    Performance bonuses

Sales commissions for customer referrals and upsells

    Company vehicle during work hours

    Paid training

    Full-time, year-round employment

    Clear advancement opportunities

This is a career opportunity—not just another construction job.

    Mandatory Requirements

21 years of age or older

    High School Diploma or GED

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

    Comfortable driving a company vehicle

Professional experience working on ladders and at heights

Strong understanding of ladder safety and roof safety

Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the day

Ability to work outdoors in heat, humidity, and varying weather conditions

Strong communication skills and professionalism with customers

Ability to work independently and solve problems on the job site

    Preferred Qualifications

    Low-voltage lighting experience

    Landscape lighting installation experience

    Permanent lighting installation experience

    Construction or exterior trades background

    Crew leadership experience

Lift certification or experience operating aerial lifts
