We are seeking a skilled and passionate Lead Line Cook to join our culinary team at our fine dining restaurant, Caterinas. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment and a strong understanding of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards. As the Lead Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality meals to our guests while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food storage.
Handle food safely and efficiently, adhering to all food handling guidelines.
Participate in catering events as needed, providing exceptional service to guests.
Utilize knife skills for meal preparation and presentation of dishes.
Support the dietary department by preparing meals that meet specific dietary needs.
Experience
Previous experience in a fine dining restaurant, is required.
Minimum 3 years of line cook experience within a full-service restaurant.
Experience in menu planning and catering services is advantageous
Strong food preparation skills with an emphasis on quality and presentation
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks
Pay:
