    JOB OVERVIEW

    We are seeking a dependable, skilled, and motivated Lead Line Cook to join our kitchen team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in preparing high-quality food, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has experience leading others on the line. As Lead Line Cook, you’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth service by setting the pace, supporting other line cooks, and maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness.

    Key Responsibilities

    Lead and oversee the line during service, ensuring timing, coordination, and consistency across dishes

    Set up and stock your station with all necessary supplies and assist others as needed

    Prep ingredients according to recipes and kitchen standards (e.g., chopping vegetables, portioning proteins, preparing sauces)

    Cook and plate dishes to spec, maintaining presentation and flavor consistency

    Communicate effectively with the Sous Chef and Executive Chef regarding daily needs, prep lists, or any issues

    Ensure your station and surrounding areas are clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout the shift

    Monitor food quality, portion sizes, and plating standards

    Train and support new or less experienced line cooks as needed

    Follow and enforce all health, safety, and sanitation regulations

    Handle leftover food properly, label and store in compliance with guidelines

    Skills & Qualifications

    2+ years of experience in a line cook or similar kitchen role required

    Leadership or supervisory experience in a kitchen setting is strongly preferred

    Proficient in cooking techniques, knife skills, and kitchen equipment

    Ability to multitask and lead by example in a high-pressure environment

    Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team

    Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and food safety

    Clear communicator with good interpersonal skills

    Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
