We’re looking for a hands-on, proactive Lead Machine Operator to keep our production lines running strong and our team performing at their best. If you’ve got experience in food manufacturing and a passion for precision, we want to talk to you. Responsibilities: • Planning, organizing, and executing product tests. Review logs to make sure the product is in spec and work with quality to provide a record of quality compliance efforts. • Implement and validate SOPs. • Daily shift meetings with the daily production plan. • Complete daily sign-off on PR documentation, ensuring all Quality standards have been met and documented. • Shift walkthrough with transitioning supervisor. • Train manufacturing personnel in the quality system and related quality procedures, respond to quality-related issues, and provide technical assistance as needed. Advise manufacturing personnel on proper product sampling techniques. • Conduct communication, safety, and food safety meetings with the crew daily. • Demonstrate full commitment to the implementation of the Global Standard for Food Safety and to processes that facilitate continual improvement of food safety and quality management. • Audit the effectiveness of sanitation/CIP on all equipment, lines, and tanks. Ensure proper time, temperature, and concentration are maintained during the wash cycle and recorded. Ensure all equipment is running effectively. • Perform startups, shutdowns, CIPs, sanitation drumming off juice, troubleshooting equipment, and all other associated tasks and duties as required. Qualifications: • 2+ years of food manufacturing machine operating experience. • 1+ year of supervisory experience. • Ability to problem-solve and troubleshoot machines. • Strong understanding and adherence to safety guidelines. • Must be able to lift, push, and pull product generally around 20-30 pounds. • HMI Systems experience is a plus. Compensation: $24 - $28 per hour
