Job Summary

The Lead Massage Therapist (Administrative) is an acting massage therapist, who also services in a leadership role, coaching and mentoring the Massage Therapy team. Responsible for the team scheduling and goal setting, as well while maintaining of brand standards through service flow and protocol.

Responsibilities

Perform and excel in all essential Massage Therapist duties and in customer service, leading by example.

Responsible for all schedules, including adjustments for absences, coverage, and white space.

Set goals for the team based on Leadership guidance and ensure planning and execution for achieving stated goals.

Coordinate and conduct team meetings to provide performance feedback and share necessary updates from Leadership and Corporate.

Conduct audit of certification compliance, NOW360 training and continuing education, ensuring each is maintained for the Massage Therapists.

Assist management with boutique operations and serve as a liaison between Massage Therapists and the Leadership Team.

Conduct monthly inventories of linen and equipment to ensure operational readiness and plan replacements.

Collaborate with the Leadership Team by sharing feedback and suggestions for ongoing improvements.

Maintain flexibility and adaptability will be necessary as ad hoc and additional responsibilities will undoubtedly arise.

Represent The NOW with inspiring professionalism and a commitment to an inclusive workplace.

Qualifications

At least 7 years of experience as a Massage Therapist.

Experience as a lead and/or trainer in massage therapy.

Strong communication and coaching skills

CAMTC License/certification required. Must present a license/certificate during the interview process and maintain it throughout employment if hired.

Knowledge of Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage and other modalities.

Excellent guest service skills.
