Job Summary: We’re seeking a reliable and experienced Lead Pavement Markings Technician to supervise and work alongside field crews, ensuring pavement marking projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to high standards. This is a hands-on leadership role involving equipment operation, job site coordination, and crew development.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and assist crews with pavement marking jobs

Interpret project plans and organize jobsite execution

Set up and tear down work zones following safety protocols

Operate equipment such as paint trucks, forklifts, skid steers, and trailers

Communicate clearly with team members, supervisors, and project contacts

Complete daily reports and quantity tracking

Provide on-site training to crew members

Perform manual labor including raking, shoveling, and brooming

Requirements:

Valid driver’s license

Must pass pre-employment drug screen and DOT physical

Comfortable working in all weather conditions

Able to lift 75+ lbs and perform physical labor

Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills

Mechanical and basic electrical knowledge

Preferred Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED

1+ years in construction or traffic control/pavement marking
