    General Summary:

    The BODYBAR Pilates Fitness Lead is an ambassador of the BODYBAR member experience and method. As part of the studio leadership team, this role works closely with the Studio Manager to support daily operations, instructor development, and overall studio success. The Fitness Lead is a hands-on leader and high-performing instructor who plays a key role in delivering exceptional classes, fostering community, and supporting studio initiatives.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    Teach an average of 10 BODYBAR Pilates classes per week

    Deliver an exceptional member experience before, during, and after class

    Lead by example in class quality, energy, and member engagement

    Support instructor onboarding, development, and ongoing feedback

    Assist in coordinating instructor substitutions and ensuring class coverage

    Uphold BODYBAR programming standards and brand consistency

    Support studio initiatives including sales, events, and member engagement efforts

    Build strong relationships with members to drive retention and community

    Assist with sales and member recruitment

    Assist with equipment upkeep and overall studio organization

    Maintain studio cleanliness and presentation in alignment with brand standards

    Partner with Studio Manager to support studio performance and growth

    EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

    1+ year experience in fitness, retail, hospitality, or customer service

    Demonstrated leadership qualities or interest in growing into a leadership role

    Self-motivated with a proactive approach to supporting studio growth and member engagement

    Comfortable engaging with the community through events, partnerships, and member relationships

    Excellent communication skills in-person, via phone and email

    Highly organized; able to prioritize and meet deadlines

    Professional, trustworthy, and punctual

    Proficient with client management software

    Passionate about fitness
