About the Role:

Join our dynamic team at Early Start Childcare as a Lead Preschool Teacher in Detroit, MI! This exciting role offers you the chance to nurture young minds and foster a love for learning in a supportive and engaging environment.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum for preschool-aged children.

Create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating classroom environment.

Monitor and assess children's progress and development.

Engage with parents and caregivers to discuss children's progress.

Lead daily activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive skills.

Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance program offerings.

Maintain a clean and organized classroom space.

Stay updated on best practices in early childhood education.

Requirements:

Child Development Associates or higher education in child development

State certification or licensure for preschool teaching.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a preschool or early childhood setting.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Passion for working with young children and fostering their development.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Knowledge of child development theories and practices.

First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
