    We are located in Arvada, Colorado. At Primrose School at Candelas is an accredited private preschool that provides a premier educational childcare experience. We offer year-round programs for children from infant through elementary school age. We are seeking an energetic, fun individual for a Lead position in our Early Preschool and Preschool classrooms.

    As an Early Childhood Teacher in our child care facility, you would have a rewarding career in helping plan and implement an ongoing program of activities which promote the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of each child. This is the Primrose Balanced Learning® approach to teaching and learning for an Early Childhood Teacher.

    Compensation and Benefits: The Perks:

    This role pays up to $19.25-$24.00 per hour with relevant experience and qualifications.

    Full Time

    Operations Hours are currently 6:30am-6:00pm. Shift hours are flexible.

    Make an impact! As an Early Childhood Teacher:

    Lead teacher supervises daily class functions of a group of children.

    Lead teacher assess each child's individual ongoing developmental needs.

    Lead teacher implements an approved lesson plan and daily classroom schedule.

    Lead teacher work with Assistant Teacher(s) and the Director in planning parent-teacher conferences and student evaluations.

    Lead Teacher attends all required staff meetings, workshops, and school functions.

    Lead Teacher complies with all applicable local, state, or federal regulatory rules and laws pertaining to the health, safety, and care of children.

    Your skills and experience:

    Ability to relate positively to young children.

    Is flexible and adaptable.

    Holds passion and respect for young children.

    Is team-oriented and communicates well.

    Requirements

    Must be Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) qualified under local, state, and federal regulations

    Must pass all required background checks

    Must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib

    Occasional lifting up to 35 lbs.

    Frequent walking, standing, sitting, kneeling, crawling, squatting, reaching, bending, and crouching

    This role pays $19.25-24.00/ hour based on experience and qualifications.
