Now Hiring: Preschool Teacher (Ages 3–4) Location: Sakonnet Early Learning Center – Tiverton, RI Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM Hours: Up to 40 hours/week (rotating closing schedule required)

Sakonnet Early Learning Center is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Preschool Teacher to join our team of early childhood professionals. Your Role:

Deliver age-appropriate, play-based lessons that build early literacy, math, motor, and social-emotional skills

Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment

Establish strong relationships with children and families

Collaborate with co-teachers and assist in lesson planning and classroom management

Track child development progress and help prepare children for kindergarten readiness

Promote positive behavior, classroom routines, and strong peer interactions

Qualifications:

CDA, Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (or related field) preferred

Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a licensed preschool or child care setting

Solid understanding of child development and early learning frameworks

Strong communication, observation, and classroom management skills

Positive, team-focused attitude and ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment

Must be 18+ and able to pass background checks

What We Offer:

Pay: $16–$19 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
