Property Maintenance Lead (Guaranteed 32+ hours per week) About HomeSmiles: HomeSmiles Northwest Ohio (locally owned and operated) provides professional, preventive property maintenance for homes and commercial buildings. We take care of the routine but critical services that help property owners protect their investment, improve safety, and avoid costly repairs.
Position Summary:
The Property Maintenance Lead will be responsible for driving the company van to and from job sites, leading the completion of our various maintenance packages, troubleshooting problems as they arise, and providing friendly and efficient customer service. Completing up to four jobs per day, the Property Maintenance Lead will keep the team on schedule and organized while providing mentorship to the team’s Junior Technician.
This position is a full-time role, guaranteed 32 hours/week to start, with the potential for more hours as additional jobs are booked. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone experienced in general maintenance who takes pride in delivering quality service and developing strong customer relationships. Someone with transferrable experience (ex. landscaping, exterior cleaning, residential services) is encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
Perform external maintenance tasks such as exterior window washing, gutter cleaning, pressure washing, whole home soft washing, and more.
Perform internal maintenance tasks such as range hood filter cleaning, water heater drain cleaning, HVAC filter replacements, smoke alarm testing and battery replacement, window cleaning, and more.
Mentor and oversee Junior Technician on job best practices and van upkeep.
Submit digital reports and scheduling updates in a timely manner.
Manage van inventory and communicate when reorder of supplies is needed.
Maintain and troubleshoot equipment.
Provide excellent customer service through clear communication and quick resolution of job-related inquiries.
Pay & Perks:
$26 to $30 per hour to start, based on experience. Strong performers can anticipate an additional $200-$400/month in performance bonuses.
Guaranteed minimum 32 hours per week, with more hours scheduled as volume grows.

6-month review with base pay raise opportunity.

Weekdays only: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in maintenance.
Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record (3+ years).
Comfortable working in a physical, outdoor role with power tools.
Available Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm.
