    The Goddard School® in Castle Rock is seeking a kind and passionate Lead-Qualified Young Toddler Teacher. This adorable age group (12-18 months) bridges the gap between an Infants Classroom and a Toddler Classroom.     Lead Teacher Key Responsibilities:

    Curriculum and Instruction: lead dynamic inquiry-based learning activities, nurture development of a lifelong love of learning

    Classroom Management: managing daily routines in a safe, nurturing environment.

    Family Communication: maintain effective communication with families regarding their child's progress and daily activities

    Health and Safety: ensure cleanliness and orderliness, adhere to stringent health & safety guidelines

    Professional Development: participate in ongoing development & training opportunities, collaborate and share ideas and strategies

    Qualifications:

    High school diploma required

    1-2+ years of previous experience working with young children in a licensed childcare or preschool setting required

    Develops relationships and communicates effectively with children, parents, and faculty members

    Associate or Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education (or other Education degree) preferred

    Child Development Associate (CDA) preferred

    Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children
