    The New Washington State Bank (NWSB) is looking for a detail oriented, organized and customer focused individual to join our team. We currently have a full-time Lead Relationship Banker position available at our Borden branch.

    Primary Responsibilities: • Supervise staff and provide additional support such as training, answering questions or obtaining the answer for them, assisting with complex transactions/services, approving transactions, finding outages, opening and closing the branch etc.

    • Service bank customers by effectively running a drawer, providing additional frontline services, opening various types of consumer and business accounts as well as completing loan applications.

    • Ensures that the day-to-day operations of the branch such as replenishing the ATM, ordering currency, auditing/balancing the vault, processing night drops, running proof, etc. are completed in an efficient and compliant manner.

    • Helps front line staff grow in our organization by continually motivating and training them and allowing them the opportunity to develop their banking knowledge and experience.

    • Leads Relationship Bankers in building relationship with customers by discovering their financial needs and cross-selling them bank products and services to fit these needs. • Refer customers to the proper department for issues that cannot be resolved at the front line.

    • Follow all company policies and practices and set an example for others in the branch to follow.

    • Prepares and completes various required reports and additional paperwork as needed as well as potentially assisting the Relationship Office Manager with creating the staff schedule.

    Minimum Qualifications: • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.

    • One to two years of related experience and/or training preferred
