    Position Overview:

    We are on the lookout for a skilled Lead Residential A/V Field Technician and Installer with expertise in smart home systems to join our dynamic team. This role involves the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of various audio-visual and automation systems in residential and commercial projects.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Installation: Execute the installation of audio, video, and control systems including speakers, projectors, TVs, and networking components.

    • Configuration: Set up and program smart home systems, ensuring they meet client specifications and integrate seamlessly with existing technologies.

    • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues that arise during or post-installation to ensure customer satisfaction.

    • Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on systems as required.

    • Client Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, explain system functionalities, and provide training on system use.

    • Documentation: Keep accurate records of installations, configurations, and client interactions for future reference and quality assurance.

    Qualifications:

    • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in electronics, computer science, or related fields are a plus.

    • Experience:

    • Minimum of 2 years experience in A/V installation or related technical field.

    • Must be fluent in at least one smart home system: Control4 or URC. Proficiency in multiple systems is highly desirable.

    • Technical Skills:

    • Strong understanding of audio-visual equipment, networking, and home automation technologies.

    • Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics.

    • Proficient in the use of installation tools and equipment.

    • Soft Skills:

    • Excellent problem-solving abilities.

    • Good interpersonal and communication skills for client interactions.

    • Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality work.
