What You’ll Be Doing The Lead Sales Associate position is part-time and will include early morning, evening and weekend work, requiring approximately 20-25 hours per week or more as needed. Hours will be split among our two studios in Alpharetta and Roswell, GA.
Job Summary: As a Lead Sales Associate, you will be responsible for delivering the highest quality customer service to all clients and guests through professional communications, account maintenance,and extensive knowledge of BODYBAR classes, products, and retail. This elevated role requires that you be comfortable dealing with client issues and complaints, working through cancellations and freezes for client accounts, and helping to lead and train other team members. Lead Sales Associates are responsible for the class registration and attendance process and for communicating and ensuring adherence to studio policies and promotions. This highly visible role gives opportunity for casual conversation, community and relationship building, and has a direct impact on creating the client experience and overall success of the studio.
Drive studio growth by owning the sales process—generate leads, follow up, and turn interest into memberships. Take ownership of existing referral sources to develop new client interest and drive attendance; continually follow-up with leads to drive recurring membership or class pack sales.
Build strong relationships with members through proactive communication and personalized support.
Lead the customer service experience by greeting and servicing clients in a friendly and professional manner - attentively responding to client needs/requests/issues. Managing the customer lifecycle from beginning (joining the community) to end (cancellation, freeze requests, etc).
Positively impact customer retention and minimize attrition by monitoring client attandance, and promptly responding to late cancels, no shows, etfc.
Be our brand ambassador—represent BODYBAR at local events and help grow our presence in the community. Understand and promote all BODYBAR offerings, specials and promotions within the community. Engage with and grow our community partner network.
Stay organized and efficient by keeping member bookings and interactions accurately logged. Ensure inventory and supplies are well stocked and organized.
Create a welcoming studio vibe by engaging with members before and after class,keeping the the studio, front reception and restrooms looking clean and inviting.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
Positive, high energy attitude and personality
Goal-oriented with an ability to generate membership, retail, and private training sales
Fluent in English with excellent communication skills in-person, via phone and email
Passionate about fitness
Professional, trustworthy, and punctual
Proficient with computers and studio software
1-3 years retail and/or fitness sales experience required
High school diploma or equivalent
