    The Lead Senior Paralegal plays a dual role in both case management and team development. This position is responsible for handling complex family law and criminal law cases while also leading, mentoring, and developing the firm’s paralegal and legal assistant team to ensure excellence in client service and case outcomes. With 10+ years of family law experience and 3 years of proven training and mentorship success, this role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about developing others while delivering exceptional legal support. Responsibilities: Case Management - 60% • Manage a personal caseload of complex matters from intake through resolution. • Prepare, review, and file legal documents, discovery responses, and trial materials. • Maintain direct client communication and coordinate with attorneys to ensure deadlines are met. • Conduct legal research and draft substantive pleadings, motions, and correspondence. • Ensure accuracy, organization, and timeliness of case deliverables. Team Development & Leadership - 40% • Train, mentor, and evaluate paralegals and legal assistants on firm procedures, case preparation, and client communication. • Develop and implement standard operating procedures and best practices to improve efficiency and quality. • Lead onboarding and continuing education initiatives for support staff. • Serve as the point of contact for workflow coordination, quality review, and performance feedback. • Foster a collaborative, learning-focused culture aligned with the firm’s GOLD Standards. Qualifications: Required Qualifications: • Minimum 7+ years of paralegal experience in family law. • Minimum 3+ years of experience training and developing paralegals. • Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved institution. • Extensive knowledge of Georgia family law , including court rules, filings, and litigation timelines. • Proficiency in legal case management software ( MyCase). • Strong writing, communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Preferred Qualifications: • Prior experience supervising a legal support team. • Bilingual (Spanish or another language) is a plus. Compensation: $85,000 - $105,000 yearly
