    .Lead Shop Technician is responsible for the direct supervision of all shop technicians. Training all shop technicians for all levels of services, Performing services including brakes, rotors, oil change, transmission, differential, cooling system maintenance, repairing and replacing automotive component•

    Perform preventative maintenance on vehicles to ensure customers can drive away feeling safe and at ease

    and additional services (e.g. wiper blades, air filters, etc.). He/she communicates with all shop personnel, educating them on necessary preventive vehicle maintenance. Perform final safety and quality check Additional duties may include courtesy, hood and pit tech services Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    Responsibilities include : Lead Shop Technician is responsible for the direct supervision of all shop technicians .Training all shop technicians for all levels of services . Designate and coordinate all shop duties to ensure all services are done in a quick timely manner with efficiency and accuracy. •Perform preventative maintenance on vehicles to ensure customers can drive away feeling safe and at ease .Ensure proper execution of all activities in the service bays

    •Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repair · Performing preventive maintenance on fluid services equipment

    · Explaining our company programs, and services To all shop technicians to achieve high customer satisfaction and increased revenues · Attending training sessions that are applicable to the career path and position requirements

    · Following appropriate safety procedures and notifying the Center Manager of safety hazards or needed equipment repairs

    Customer Relations

    Welcome customers immediately in a professional manner. requirements, Grease Monkey services and pricing during the Welcome, Wait/Show and Departure.

    Present air filter, cabin air filter, breather, and radiator cap if applicable, for customer inspection.

    Maintain communications with waiting customers, keep them informed of wait times, and answer questions. Ensure a comfortable, clean, and safe atmosphere for customers.

    Review Service Order Ticket, including the Warranty and Free Top-Off Programs on the back, thoroughly with customers at check-out, explain services performed, purpose of static sticker and reminder card.

    Remind departing customers to submit feedback about their visit.

    Thank all departing customers and remind them to return.

    Resolve customer complaints and damage claims.

    . •Keeping a brisk work pace in a high-volume environment Work safely, wear safety gear, and keep the work area clean and organized.

    Use Echo System / Echo services and vehicle information

    Direct the vehicle into the bay

    Place fender covers on the vehicle

    Perform light check and check/fill automatic transmission fluid(when applicable), condition and level of oil, power steering fluid, windshield washer fluid, coolant, battery electrolyte

    Remove and check emissions components: Replace top-side oil filter, when applicable. air filter, cabin air filter, breather, and radiator cap. Deliver emissions components to the center manager for customer presentation. when applicable Install emissions components

    Perform a visual inspection of belts, hoses, and other hood compartment components, document unusual conditions

    Perform additional services, as needed,

    Record information on Work Order

    Perform final safety and quality check

    Other Duties and Responsibilities In addition to the duties listed above, every crew member is responsible for general center maintenance and cleaning duties such as mopping, washing center windows, lawn mowing, clearing litter, snow and ice from the site, and cleaning restrooms. Job Qualifications

    Customer service skills Basic literacy (ready, writing, math skills) Verbal communication skills

    Ability and license to operate motor vehicles

    Ability to properly use mechanical hand tools

    Attention to detail

    Previous experience - Minimum 2 years actual experience as an Automotive Lube tech required

    Capable of maintaining all makes/models of vehicles

    Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repair

    Keeping a brisk work pace in a high-volume environment

    Vehicle Inspections - digital a plus

    Ability to perform a wide variety of vehicle maintenance

    Takes direction well

    Great attitude, willing to do whatever is needed

    Always willing to learn and improve

    Working Conditions Materials Used: Automotive oils, fluids and lubricants, windshield washer fluid, battery electrolyte. Environment: Frequent exposure to outside weather elements, noise, and vehicle exhaust fumes throughout the entire shift. Physical Activities: Position requires good corrected vision, hearing, frequent standing, walking, climbing, stooping, crouching, handling, reaching, and lifting.
