About the Role:

Kids 'R' Kids Keller is looking for a passionate and nurturing Lead Teacher to guide our classroom of curious 2-year-olds in Keller, TX! This is an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact during one of the most formative stages of early childhood development. Responsibilities:

Prepare and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for toddlers in a 2-year-old classroom

Foster a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment that supports social, emotional, and cognitive development

Supervise and engage children during daily routines including meals, nap time, and play

Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding child progress and daily activities

Maintain accurate developmental records and assessments for each child

Collaborate with assistant teachers and school staff to ensure classroom consistency

Ensure classroom compliance with state licensing regulations and childcare safety standards

Requirements:

Minimum High School Diploma/GED

Minimum of 1 year experience as a lead teacher, toddler experience a plus

Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices for 2-year-olds

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children, parents, and staff

Ability to pass a background check and meet Texas childcare licensing requirements

CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Patient, energetic, and passionate about early childhood development
