About the Role:

Join WILLOW WOODS C D C as a Lead Teacher for our vibrant 2-year-olds classroom! We are looking for a passionate educator who will create a nurturing environment that fosters curiosity and growth in our young learners.

Responsibilities:

Design and implement engaging lesson plans that promote cognitive and social development.

Provide a safe and supportive learning environment for all children.

Monitor and assess individual progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.

Communicate regularly with parents about their child's development and classroom activities.

Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance curriculum and classroom experience.

Maintain a clean and organized classroom that is conducive to learning.

Encourage positive behavior and social skills through interactive play and activities.

Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current in early childhood education.

Requirements:

At least 2 years of experience working with toddlers in a classroom setting.

Current CPR and First Aid certification required.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children and parents.

Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Knowledge of early childhood development milestones and best practices.

Patience, creativity, and a passion for teaching young children.

Must pass background checks and meet state licensing requirements.
