About the Role:
3 2 Get Ready Childcare Learning Center in Philadelphia, PA is looking for a passionate and dedicated Lead Teacher to join our team! Responsibilities:
Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and curriculum aligned with early childhood education standards
Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that fosters growth and development
Supervise and guide assistant teachers and classroom aides in daily activities
Monitor and document children's developmental progress and communicate updates to parents and guardians
Maintain a clean, organized, and child-friendly classroom at all times
Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow staff members
Ensure compliance with state childcare regulations and center policies
Requirements:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred
Previous experience as a Lead Teacher or in a childcare/preschool setting
Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Ability to pass required background checks and meet Pennsylvania childcare licensing requirements
Patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic demeanor with a genuine love for working with young children
