About the Role:

Join Cozy Childcare & Learning Center as a Lead Teacher, where your passion for nurturing young minds will shine! We are dedicated to creating a warm and engaging environment for children to learn and grow, and we need a dedicated leader to guide our team.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that foster creativity and critical thinking.

Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and support staff in daily classroom activities.

Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating classroom environment for children.

Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child’s progress and development.

Conduct assessments and evaluations to track children's growth and learning milestones.

Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience and curriculum.

Organize and participate in school events and community outreach programs.

Ensure compliance with state regulations and licensing requirements for childcare facilities.

Participate in day to day operation of center and cover for other staff when absent

Ensure Sign-in and Sign-out are completed on daily basis for the class

Always have active supervision on every child in the class, hallways, playground or on field trips

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or CDA or TCC.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a childcare or educational setting.

Current CPR and First Aid certification required.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective parent and team interactions.

Ability to create a nurturing and inclusive environment for all children.

Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early education.

Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with young children.

Must pass background checks and adhere to state licensing requirements.
