About the Role:
Join Clarian Place Child Care and Learning Center as a Lead Teacher, where you will inspire and nurture young minds in a vibrant learning environment. Responsibilities:
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote cognitive and social development.
Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and support staff to ensure a collaborative learning environment.
Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom atmosphere for all children.
Conduct regular assessments to track student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child's development and classroom activities.
Maintain a clean and organized classroom that meets health and safety standards.
Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices.
Promote positive behavior and conflict resolution strategies among students.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a teaching role within a childcare or educational setting.
Current CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
Strong understanding of child development principles and age-appropriate practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with children and families.
Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
Passion for nurturing young children and fostering their love for learning.
Willingness to collaborate with colleagues and participate in team initiatives.
