Program Leadership
Oversee daily operations of the after-school site, ensuring a safe, engaging, and welcoming environment.
Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons, activities, and enrichment experiences.
Foster a culture of curiosity, respect, and enthusiasm for learning.
Child Development & Family Partnership
Build trusting relationships with children and monitor their social, emotional, and academic growth.
Communicate regularly with families, offering insights, encouragement, and partnership.
Collaborate with schools and community partners to support student success.
Team Management
Supervise, coach, and mentor program staff and volunteers.
Lead team meetings, provide ongoing feedback, and support professional development.
Model patience, positivity, and high expectations for the team and children.
Administration & Compliance

Ensure program meets licensing standards and organizational policies.
Manage scheduling, supplies, and site logistics.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or related field preferred.
At least 2–3 years of experience working with school-aged children; leadership experience strongly valued.
Strong communication, organization, and team-building skills.
Ability to create a learning environment that is inclusive, joyful, and grounded in respect for all children and families.
What We Value
I look for leaders who bring both skill and heart—people who believe, as I do, that early learning is the foundation of life. At our program, we work as a team, we celebrate children’s unique gifts, and we rise to challenges together. If you’re passionate about shaping brighter futures, you’ll feel right at home with us.
