Responsibilities

Lead an Infant, Toddler, Preschool, or VPK classroom

Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment

Implement The Learning Experience's proprietary L.E.A.P.® Curriculum

Develop and execute age-appropriate lesson plans

Track and document children's developmental progress

Build strong relationships with families through daily communication

Ensure compliance with all DCF licensing standards and health and safety requirements

Mentor Assistant Teachers and support a collaborative classroom environment

Foster children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development

Qualifications

Required:

Minimum 2 years of experience in a licensed childcare center, preschool, daycare, or early learning program

High School Diploma or GED

Completion of DCF 45-Hour Child Care Training (or willingness to obtain)

Ability to meet all Florida licensing requirements

Strong classroom management and communication skills

Preferred:

Active CDA Credential

Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field

Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field

CPR and First Aid Certification

Experience as a Lead Teacher, Preschool Teacher, Childcare Teacher, VPK Teacher, Infant Teacher, or Toddler Teacher
