Position: Lead Teacher

As a Lead Teacher, you will be the heart of the classroom, guiding assistant teachers, inspiring children, and ensuring that every day reflects our mission of excellence and care.

Key Responsibilities

Classroom Leadership: Manage daily classroom operations and maintain a safe, nurturing environment.

Curriculum Implementation: Deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons that foster growth and creativity.

Mentorship: Support and guide assistant teachers, modeling best practices in instruction and care.

Compliance & Ratios: Ensure classrooms meet all DSS/DBHDS standards and maintain proper child-to-staff ratios.

Communication: Partner with families and staff to share updates, progress, and classroom needs.

Collaboration: Participate in weekly meetings with the Program Director and fellow Lead Teachers to strategize, share successes, and address challenges.

Qualifications

Experience in early childhood education or childcare leadership.

Strong communication and organizational skills.
