    Lead Teacher – Float Position (Infant, Toddler, Preschool) Location: The Learning Experience – Newark, DE Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday Pay: $17–$20 per hour

    The Learning Experience – Newark is hiring a Lead-Qualified Float Teacher to support classrooms across Infants, Toddlers, and Preschool. This position is ideal for a confident, adaptable educator who enjoys variety and can step into lead coverage when needed while maintaining consistency and quality across the school.

    Our center provides a structured, play-based learning environment that supports early academics, social-emotional development, and positive classroom experiences.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Provide lead-level classroom coverage across multiple age groups as needed

    Deliver developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with The Learning Experience L.E.A.P. Curriculum

    Maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment

    Support early literacy, math, social skills, and creative exploration

    Assist with daily routines including meals, rest time, and transitions

    Collaborate with teaching teams and leadership to ensure classroom consistency

    Communicate professionally with families and staff

    Maintain compliance with Delaware licensing and center policies

    Qualifications:

    TECE I and TECE II required

    High school diploma or GED required

    CDA or early childhood coursework strongly preferred

    Minimum 6 months classroom experience (1+ year preferred)

    Strong understanding of developmentally appropriate practices

    CPR and First Aid preferred or willingness to obtain

    Ability to meet all Delaware childcare licensing and background requirements
