About the Role:

Lasting Impressions Child Development Center in Clarksburg, WV is looking for a passionate and nurturing Lead Teacher to guide and care for our youngest learners in the Infant/Mobile Infant classroom. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a lasting impact during the most critical stage of early childhood development. Responsibilities:

Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities for infants and mobile infants

Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment that supports early developmental milestones

Monitor and document each child's growth, development, and daily activities

Communicate regularly and effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom in compliance with licensing and health standards

Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and classroom aides

Follow proper feeding, diapering, and sleep safety protocols in accordance with state regulations

Requirements:

Experience working with infants and/or toddlers in a licensed childcare or early education setting

Knowledge of infant developmental stages and age-appropriate curriculum

CDA (Child Development Associate) credential or Early Childhood Education degree preferred

Current CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain

Ability to meet West Virginia childcare licensing requirements

Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills

Dependable, compassionate, and team-oriented professional demeanor
