Spark a Love of Learning – Early Childhood Educator
Do you believe that children are our future? At the Primrose School of 4S Ranch, we inspire curious minds and nurture compassionate hearts every day through our Balanced Learning® curriculum. We’re looking for an enthusiastic, creative educator who wants to help young children build a lifelong love of learning in a warm, supportive community.
What You’ll Do
Create a welcoming classroom: Lead and supervise a group of children, providing a safe, nurturing environment where they can explore, create, and build confidence.
Bring our curriculum to life: Implement daily lesson plans and schedules aligned with our Balanced Learning® approach to foster social, emotional, cognitive and physical development.
Partner with families: Collaborate with our leadership team on student evaluations and parent-teacher conferences; communicate clearly with parents and caregivers about each child’s progress.
Promote health and safety: Uphold all Primrose and state guidelines for the care and well‑being of children.
Support growth: Provide positive guidance and recognition, model appropriate behavior, and encourage curiosity, compassion and kindness.
Collaborate: Attend staff meetings, professional development sessions and school events. Maintain a well‑organized classroom that invites children to explore and make choices.
What We’re Looking For
Must-haves
12 ECE units (or 6 units with current enrollment) in early childhood development.
Previous experience teaching or assisting in a licensed early childhood program.
Understanding of young children’s social, emotional, creative and cognitive needs.
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs to ensure children’s safety and to assist infants and toddlers as needed.
Nice-to-haves
Additional ECE coursework or certifications.
Experience with the Balanced Learning® curriculum or similar child‑centered approaches.
Strong communication skills with parents and coworkers.
