The Goddard School® (35 Magothy Beach Rd., Pasadena, MD) is seeking a passionate Pre Kindergarten Teacher. Join a supportive team and create a nurturing, engaging classroom that prepares children for kindergarten using our Wonder of Learning® curriculum.

Responsibilities:

Curriculum and Instruction: Implement developmentally appropriate Pre-K lessons

Implement activities that follow MSDE standards

Health and Safety: Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities to uphold health and safety standards, licensing regulations and ensure their well-being

Family Communication: Communicate with families about progress and daily activities

Support children’s social-emotional growth and school readiness

Collaborate with team members and participate in training

Team Collaboration: Support Assistant Teachers and Resource Teachers, fostering a collaborative and positive team environment.

Qualifications:

High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's in Early Childhood Education preferred

Preschool certification preferred

1–2 years of experience with young children preferred

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
