Lead Teacher

Location: The Learning Experience – Worcester, MA Pay: $22.00 per hour Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday

Lead Teacher – Early Childhood Education

The Learning Experience – Worcester is seeking an experienced Lead Teacher to join our growing team. We're looking for a Massachusetts EEC Certified educator who can confidently lead a classroom, mentor assistant teachers, and create engaging learning experiences for young children.

Whether working with infants, toddlers, or preschoolers, you'll help build a positive classroom culture where children feel safe, supported, and inspired to learn every day.

Responsibilities

Lead all aspects of daily classroom instruction and management

Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences using The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum

Foster children's cognitive, language, physical, and social-emotional development

Mentor and support Assistant Teachers while promoting teamwork and collaboration

Build strong relationships with children and families through consistent communication

Maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming classroom

Ensure compliance with all Massachusetts EEC licensing regulations and health and safety standards

Qualifications

Massachusetts EEC Teacher Certification required

Previous experience serving as a Lead Teacher in a licensed childcare or preschool setting preferred

Strong classroom management, leadership, and communication skills

Passion for early childhood education and child development

CPR and First Aid certification preferred
