ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Lead Technician / Crew Chief, you run jobs on site. You set the pace, keep your crew safe and organized, and make sure every customer feels taken care of from the first walkthrough to the final sign-off. You are the link between the office and the field.
Callout: This is a hands-on leadership role. You will still be on the tools, but you will also keep the jobsite, the paperwork, and the people moving in the right direction.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Own jobs from first contact through completion
Lead and direct technicians on residential and commercial jobsites
Perform water, fire, and mold mitigation following IICRC standards
Scope work, build estimates, and coordinate crews and subcontractors
Document each job with photos, moisture readings, and clear notes
Keep clear communication with customers, office staff, and your project manager
Work with adjusters and insurance carriers
Maintain vehicles, equipment, and inventory
Train and mentor newer technicians
Leave every jobsite clean, safe, and orderly
Make sure every job meets our quality standard
WHAT YOU NEED
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record (age 21 or older)
Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including climbing ladders, working at heights and in tight spaces, and lifting heavy objects
Reliable transportation to our Denver shop
Previous experience as a Restoration Technician or in a similar role is preferred
Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude
Availability for occasional on-call emergency response
Certification from the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration (IICRC) certifications such as WRT, ASD, or AMRT
High school diploma/GED
Strong organization and communication skills
Comfort with job management software and estimates
NICE TO HAVE
Two or more years of restoration or skilled trades experience
Bilingual in English and Spanish
Xactimate experience
Insurance restoration background
TPA (Third Party Administrator) Experience
