    Compensation & Earning Potential:

    Annual compensation range: $65,000–$110,000 *May be adjusted for candidates with advanced skill sets and leadership experience

    Compensation based on experience, trade proficiency, and overall qualifications.

    Overtime, on-call rotation, storm deployment, and extended-hour assignments significantly increase total earnings

    Position Summary:

    Showalter Construction & Restoration LLC (SCR) is seeking an experienced Lead Restoration Technician / Working Superintendent to support large-scale residential and commercial restoration and reconstruction projects across the Greater Tampa Bay Area.

    This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for managing field operations while actively participating in production. The ideal candidate is a seasoned trades professional with strong technical ability, field leadership experience, and the organizational skills required to manage complex, insurance-driven restoration work.

    Core Trade Expertise:

    Advanced carpentry and structural repairs

    Drywall systems, interior/exterior painting, flooring installation

    Kitchen and bathroom reconstruction

    Working knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems

    Restoration or insurance-driven construction experience preferred

    Key Responsibilities:

    Supervise and actively perform demolition, structural repair, and reconstruction work

    Manage daily job-site operations to ensure safety, efficiency, and quality workmanship

    Coordinate material needs, inventory tracking, procurement, and deliveries

    Lead and document safety meetings; enforce OSHA and company safety standards

    Direct in-house crews and subcontractors to meet productivity and quality expectations

    Train, mentor, and develop technicians in best trade and restoration practices

    Collaborate with Project Managers to maintain production schedules and customer satisfaction

    Monitor tools, vehicles, and equipment for condition, accountability, and readiness

    Participate in after-hours emergency response and storm deployment as required

    Support fire, water, and mold mitigation efforts when needed

    Maintain professional, organized, and compliant job sites at all times

    Required Skills & Experience:

    5 - 10 years of residential and commercial remodeling experience

    Strong understanding of project sequencing, production flow, and multi-site management

    Ability to interpret construction plans, scopes of work, and insurance estimates (Xactimate experience preferred)

    Deep knowledge of building codes, safety standards, and construction best practices

    High attention to detail; finish quality must meet professional standards

    Restoration experience (water, fire, mold) strongly preferred

    Familiarity with job management platforms (PSA, Encircle, XactAnalysis, or similar) a plus

    Proven leadership skills with a professional, customer-focused approach

    Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities

    Qualifications:

    High school diploma or GED required (trade certifications or IICRC credentials preferred)

    Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

    Ability to pass a criminal background check

    Fluent in English (reading, writing, and verbal communication)

    Reliable transportation and ability to work 40–50+ hours per week

    Physically able to lift 75–100 lbs, climb ladders up to 40’, and work in confined or elevated spaces

    Comfortable working in environments impacted by fire, water, mold, or storm damage
