    Summer 2026 | TGA of Central Hennepin County

    TGA is hiring a Lead Tennis & Pickleball Coach to run and oversee our summer programs at Brookview. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who loves working with kids, can manage other coaches, and wants real ownership of a high-volume program.

    Brookview is one of our busiest locations. Things move fast. Multiple groups. Lots of families. We’re looking for someone who can confidently run the show on-site and keep the experience consistent and fun all summer.

    What You’ll Do

    Lead tennis and pickleball summer camps for kids in grades K–8

    Act as the on-site leader at Brookview, managing daily flow and group setups

    Oversee assistant and head coaches, including real-time coaching and feedback

    Break down skills in a fun, age-appropriate way while keeping energy high

    Balance structured instruction with games and match play

    Handle day-to-day parent questions on-site and escalate larger issues to TGA leadership

    Move kids between groups when needed to keep things running smoothly

    Ensure consistency week to week so families want to come back

    Support and promote adult tennis and pickleball lessons and leagues at Brookview

    Assist with staffing and scheduling to maintain proper coach-to-player ratios

    Collaborate with TGA leadership to improve systems, training, and overall program quality

    What We’re Looking For

    Strong tennis and pickleball background as a player and/or coach

    Comfortable leading other coaches and setting the tone on-site

    Reliable and available for the full summer with minimal time off

    High energy and genuinely enjoys working with kids

    Confident communicator who can handle parents calmly and professionally

    Problem-solver who can adapt on the fly

    Interested in growing programs, not just collecting hours

    Schedule & Pay

    June through August 2025

    Monday–Thursday half-day camps (morning or afternoon)

    Fridays are an optional camp day, so depends on enrollments

    Evening adult programs and private lessons available for additional hours

    Pay: $23-$28/hr starting

    Opportunity for pay increases tied to performance and expanded responsibilities
