About the Role:
Join The Goddard School of Cumming (North) as a Lead Toddler Teacher, where you'll inspire young minds in a nurturing environment. We are looking for a passionate educator to lead our toddler classroom and create engaging learning experiences for our little ones.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, and emotional growth.
Foster a safe and welcoming classroom environment for toddlers and their families.
Guide and mentor assistant teachers, providing support and professional development.
Monitor and assess children's progress, documenting milestones and communicating with parents.
Encourage positive behaviors and conflict resolution among toddlers.
Organize and participate in school events and parent-teacher conferences.
Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom that promotes exploration and learning.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations to ensure the well-being of children.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
At least 1 year of experience working with toddlers in an educational setting.
Current CPR and First Aid certifications.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children and parents.
Ability to create a warm, inviting, and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
Patience, creativity, and a passion for teaching young children.
Willingness to undergo background checks and comply with state licensing requirements.
